Our Conducive Learning Environment

The Granny Murray mission, vision and values system supports inclusive learning, flexible indoor and outdoor class spaces, and children-led learning process sustained by teachers and mentors. We have deployed massive ICT infrastructure in our environment for online and offline learning patterns that inspire the children to learn more and also leaves the teachers and mentors with many teaching options.

Our single arm classes with teachers to children ratio of 2:15 help the school to concentrate on limited number of children at all times, thereby bringing about inclusive learning and no child is left behind. This model has helped to deepen Granny Murray’s home schooling philosophy where every child gets the required mentoring attention at all times through IEP programmes.

Beyond daily classroom learning, the children are also hosted to a daily circle time and other collective learning in the different school halls for all the different age categories. We have created settings that can help the children build their confidence level including moral values, essential skills building in leadership and public speaking. The laboratories include the science, wood work, ICT, home economics lounge, art gallery, music quadrangle and other specialised learning spaces. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory is equiped with the state-of-the-art computer systems, smart board, projector, Optic Fibre Cable (OFC) based broadband internet connectivity that connects the children and their learning resources to the future. We have a mix of sporting provision within the school premises for the children which include Gymnastics, Swimming, Taekwondo, Badminton, Football, Tennis and a few other board games like Scrabble, Chess and Monopoly. Our library boasts of the most aligned global education industry books, journals, and research materials that compares to any international school.

We continually endear the children towards sustainable living and environmental friendliness through our “The Green School” project that promotes green environment through expansive planting and nuturing of greens, basic farming and gardening concepts, accomodating friendly and domestic animals, including pets, and help the become the change agents the world deserves.
